I love Harry & David. My parents give us their fruit almost every Holiday and we love it. What I love even more is the experience and welcome email I got from you when I signed up for email. The site experience was painless and even gave me a nice little welcome on the page after sign up which was nice. Although I didn’t receive the welcome right away, they graced my inbox the next day or so with a great subject of “Andrew, welcome to Harry & David. Save 10% NOW…and thanks for subscribing!” I bought right in and opened the email and to my pleasant surprise I get this awesome creative. (see below)
Things in this email that make it stand out:
1. They thank me in a way which makes me feel welcome.
2. They use and great image to the left which entices me to WANT Harry and David
3. They tell me what I am going to get in terms of signing up for their email program.
4. They give me a discount right off the bat (that I can use both online and in store)
5. The creative was fresh and most of what they told me appeared above the fold.
See for yourself below, but I am tickled by their approach to email and I wait in anticipation to what they are going to send me next. Rock on Harry & David!!
